| Over
the past 18 years, show runner, director and writer, Tim Warren
has established himself as one of the leading talents in reality
television. Currently, Warren is the Creator, Executive Producer
and Director of High School 911. The
road to High School 911 has been a
22-year journey.
After graduating with a B.A. in Communications from Denison
University in Ohio, Warren moved back to his native Connecticut
and began his commute and career in New York first at NBC researching
for “Later with Bob Costas” and then working under
the tutelage of veteran producer and creator of “Entertainment
Tonight”, Al Masini. Warren reached Senior Segment Producer

the Rich and Famous”, “Runaway with the Rich and
Famous” and the specials "Home Videos of the Stars", "The
Royal Family: In Crisis" and "Madonna: Exposed" before
joining FOX Television in 1994. He helped launch their cable
network FX producing and directing over 200 live satellite remotes
for two of the network's programs: "Personal FX: The Collectibles
Show" and "Breakfast Time".
In 1996, Warren moved to Los Angeles and formed Boomerang Productions.
Under his new company, he continued producing and directing for

and “The
Rosie O’Donnell Show”, Dick Clark Productions’ “Your
Big Break”, UPN’s “I Dare You: The Ultimate
Challenge” and
Fox Family’s “Exploring the Unknown” and “The
Scariest Places on Earth”. After producing and field directing
on Fox’s “Boot
Camp” and “Looking for Love: Bachelorettes in Alaska” as
well as the TBS series “Worst Case Scenario”, Warren
moved into show directing the first season of “Endurance”,
the Emmy-nominated series for Discovery Kids airing on NBC. Warren
directed two more seasons of the highly successful teen-reality
show both of which garnered Emmy nominations.
With the goal of producing, directing and writing programs he
could be proud of always in mind, Warren was thrilled to continue
to do that after “Endurance” by serving
as Supervising Producer, Writer and Director of ABC’s one-hour
Christmas special “Dear Santa” hosted by Jim Belushi.
He also directed episodes of “Last Resort” for ABC
Family and was the Supervising Producer for NBC’s “Adrenaline
X”.
In 2003, Warren returned to FX. Hired as Supervising Producer
and Director of “Driver: Behind the Wheel of NASCAR”,
Warren was responsible for developing and delivering a pilot
focusing on the personal and professional lives of NASCAR NEXTEL
Cup drivers including Dale Earnhardt, Jr. The show was picked
up for eight one-hour episodes and renamed, “NASCAR Drivers:
360”. Warren continued
as Director and was promoted to Co-Executive Producer. After
the completion of the first season of “NASCAR Drivers:
360”, Warren directed eight episodes ESPN’s stunt-based
competition show, “I’d Do Anything” as well
as six episodes of GSN’s “American Dream Derby”.
In 2005, Warren returned as Co-Executive Producer and Director
for the second season of “NASCAR Drivers: 360.” Warren
also directed six episodes of the WB series “Survival
of the Richest” hosted by Hal Sparks. At the end of 2005,
Warren was hired as Director and Co-Executive Producer of SPIKE’s
sports reality series “Pros vs. Joes”. He show ran
the 10 episode series and was named Executive Producer for the
show’s
season finale. Warren was nominated for a Director’s Guild
Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Reality Programs
for his work on “Pros vs. Joes”.
In 2006, Warren was hired as Co-Executive Producer for the fourth
season of ABC’s Emmy Award winning series, “Extreme
Makeover: Home Edition”. He traveled the country supervising
a production team of one hundred and oversaw the building of several homes
for well-deserving families. Warren’s
experience with EMHE prompted him to focus on developing his
own programs; programs that are not only entertaining but also
carry a positive message. Enter High School
911: a feature-length documentary film based
on Darien EMS – Post 53, which is the only fully accredited emergency
medical ambulance service in the world run by high school students. 22 years
ago, the journey to the creation of High School 911 began
when Warren’s
outlook on life was deeply impacted following his own incredible
four-year experience as an active member of this one-of-a-kind
ambulance corps.
